Window Ledge Frames

Maybe you don’t have a window ledge or one that slopes forward so that boxes can’t sit on it directly. Maybe you have a plain wall in the garden or at the front of the house that could do with brightening up. Or maybe your windows open outwards so that boxes cannot be placed on your ledge.

Then we have the perfect solution – a cast aluminium window ledge frame.

Made of re-cycled aluminium which is then powder coated black it has the look of a traditional wrought iron bracket but without the weight. It is also incredibly strong, capable of supporting up to 50 kgs.

The Window Ledge Frame is supplied as a flat pack with all the necessary screws and wall plugs, and it is simply screwed into place either side of the window.

Choose from three great designs in three different sizes.

Each design is available in 3 sizes as follows:

Small - 72.5cm x 25cm
Medium – 106cm x 25cm
Large – 136cm x 25cm

To calculate the size you require measure the width of your window and add a minimum of 7.5 cm onto either side as the uprights of the frame need to be secured into the brick or stonework outside of the window frame itself.

It doesn’t matter whether the frame is wider or longer than the sill itself or if the sill slopes downwards as the window ledge frame can support 50kgs.

For outward opening windows the frame can be installed underneath the window ledge.

The window frame can be installed easily from inside the property and is therefore suitable for installation outside high windows also.

If you want to change the colour you can easily paint the frame with a Hammerite paint in your chosen colour.
